Help:RSS feed

Watchers

RSS feeds are available on amost all WeRelate pages. Follow these directions to find the RSS and Atom Subscribing icons:

  • On a WeRelate page click the History link.
  • At the bottom of the History page you will find the links for both RSS and Atom [this no longer seems true, see below for how to expose the RSS feeds]

It appears that most browsers have stopped displaying RSS indicators by default, here's how to enable them:

  • For Firefox users:
    • Firefox no longer displays RSS indicators by default. You will need an extension to do so, for example [1]. Once that is enabled you will see an RSS icon in the right side of the address bar at the top of the browser window. Clicking on this icon will allow you to subscribe to the page.
  • For Chrome users:
    • RSS indicators can be enabled via an extension, like Subscription Extension. After installing, click on the extension button (to the right of the address bar) and pin the extension. Then, any page with RSS available will be indicated by an orange RSS icon.
  • For Internet Explorer users:
    • IE7 works much the same way except the icon to subscribe is on a tool bar instead of being in the address bar. [probably incorrect nowadays]
  • For Microsoft Edge users:
    • Follow the same steps as Chrome (above), here's an example plugin RSS Feed URL
