Hi.

I created the page for Thomas Jones and Mary Unknown (7). Mary is person #6745. Mary married (2) Edward Skerme. Mary Skerme wrote her will on 16 Nov 1707 and it was proved in Henrico Co., VA, on 5 Oct 1710.

The problem with merging my Thomas Jones and Mary Unknown (7) with Thomas Jones and Mary Unknown (8) is this - the Mary in that couple is #7406. Whoever created that page/people has Mary (#7406) marrying 2nd Isaac Winfrey (1828-1857). It's simply not possible for my Mary (#6745) (who died c. 1710) marrying a man who wasn't even born until 1828. <g>

I think it's better to keep them separate until (1) someone cleans up the Mary Unknown (#7406) and her 2 spouses, and (2) there's more information to know for absolutely certain that Thomas Jones & Mary (7) are precisely the same people as Thomas Jones and Mary (8).
