Who are the children of Saville Hyde and Susannah Abigail Butler? [add comment] [edit] IGI Records [27 January 2012]Searching IGI Records for Father=Saville Hyde and Mother=Susannah Butler, yields the following:
The current state of the wiki accepts any child either referenced in the Bishop's transcripts
Matilda and Susannah are not referenced in the Bishop's transcripts but they are referenced by Quorndon Parish Records of Marriages 1830 to 1837. In that reference they are a single person. Matilda Susannah is included as a child of John and Susannah.
It is said that Charles James Hyde is not confirmed as a son of Saville John Hyde.I belive the following will confirm that he was. I am in have notebooks of Saville John Hyde in which he records payments to Charles James. I also have correspondence from John Saville to Charles James dated 12th August 1843. I also have a letter to Charles James from Edward Gregg the family solicitor Dated October 10 1835 regarding the urgency for the sale of his late father, Saville John Hyde, sale of the estate as set down in his father's will There is a plaque in St Bartholomew's Church In Quorn Village which states; "In a vault beneath lie the remains of Saville John Hyde who died the 4th April 1830 aged 74 years. Also Susannah Abigail wife of the above who died March 23rd 1849 aged 76 years and interred in the family vault belonging to her son Charles James Hyde at the cemetery at Highgate Middlesex." I believe these serve to verify that Charles James was indeed the son of Saville and Susannah--David Davenport 10:32, 27 January 2012 (EST) [add comment] [edit] TwinsMatilda and Susannah are clearly not twins. Caroline and Alexander must be. It is not unusual for a 43 year old woman to have twins. Are Humphrey and Henry truly twins or are they a conflation of first and middle name as Matilda/Susannah appears to be? For now Henry is not listed as a separate person. [add comment] [edit] Other Referenced People [1 February 2012]Three other persons are referenced as LDS submissions, but no primary record is currently available. For now they are listed here only. Note the column "Susannah's age" above. All three fit right into gaps. Therefore it is highly likely that they are true children.
To correct the sender of the letter sent to Charles James Hyde, I miss read the senders relationship. He was in fact Charles James brother in law, and the letter was cosigned by George William Hyde, his Brother.--David Davenport 04:32, 1 February 2012 (EST) |
