Family talk:Robert Welles and Alice Unknown (1)

Now that Thomas Welles' page is current to the most accurate info, can we straighten out the proposed father, Robert Welles family ? His first 2 children are almost as old as the parents, with births occuring well before the given marriage date. The Welles Family Association discussion (web address on Thomas' page) states that about 4 Welles' generations are fairly well-documented in Warwickshire records. Welles family [6 September 2012]

The Welles Family Association indicates that NEHGSR 80 is the most current information on the paternal line of the family, although it appears that the later book on Thomas Welles was able to find a burial date for Robert; I dont have access to that book, so I cant see the evidence for it. The register article says that Alice "Hunt" is just Alice, the Hunt last name is probably confusion resulting from the court transcript.
