Original marriage certificate [18 October 2010]
Hello Moverton, I noticed that you added a link to Tresoar for the marriage index.
FamilySearch has the original scanned Westdongeradeel certificates. This one can be found at FamilySearch Record Search: Netherlands, Civil Registration, 1792-1952; Friesland; Westdongeradeel; Huwelijken 1837-1842 -- Overlijden 1811-1818; Images 243-244 of 596; browse images

- I didn't know it was available. Thank you for the info. Do you also know what the proper way to source it on this site would be? Moverton 20:21, 17 October 2010 (EDT)
- You're welcome. I only recently discovered this source myself. I have a lot of lines in Dantumadeel, which are not available on AlleFriezen yet, so finding them on FamilySearch was exciting.
- As far as sourcing, there was some recent discussion here about FamilySearch. The template mentioned in that conversation {{FScollection}} doesn't work for linking back to FS images, so I created another {{fsimages}}. My personal preference is to cite back to the Burgerlijke Stand (Source:Westdongeradeel, Friesland, Netherlands. Burgerlijke Stand), since that is where the document originated, and then indicate where you found the scan (ie:FamilySearch). An example can be found here.--Jennifer (JBS66) 04:38, 18 October 2010 (EDT)
