Patrick Napier Sr 1726-1794 Franklin Family connection. [18 September 2017]

We have records showing Patrick Napier who was married to Ann Franklin leading up to 1763 in Bedford County, Va. Their first son is Edmund Napier born ca 1755/56. Thomas Hughes Napier is the 2nd son born ca 1759/1760. It is possible other children of Patrick Napier belong with the first wife. There is a real possibility Joyce Napier is one of his daughters with Ann Franklin born ca 1758. Court record Franklin Vs Salkied in Bedford Chancery records 1760-1763 prove this marriage to Ann Franklin. If marriage to Judith Burk (not proven) is real, it never happened until the earliest ca 1764.--Napes 15:20, 16 September 2017 (UTC)

I've looked at the records that you mention on Ancestry and concur that Ann Franklin appears to have been Patrick Napier's first wife. I've revised the pages and added Ann and also added the records so other researchers will be able to follow the rationale.
