The annotated marriage date on this page "10 Feb 1648 Newbury, Essex, Massachusetts, United States What is the source for this marriage? It's not in the Newbury VR." has never been justified. Like the contributor who added the description demanding an explanation, I am at a loss to explain it, and can only assume that 10 Feb came about as a misinterpretation of the numeric form of 2 Oct 1648 [2 day of 10th month misread as 10th day of 2nd month?].
