merger [29 February 2016]

There is a proposed merger between this family and Family:Joannes Wehowsky and Magdalena Unknown (1) the information seems sililar enough to make the merge but I would like your comments before doing it.Rhian 10:44, 21 February 2016 (UTC)

Without input from JW2014, I'd be cautious about merging these two pages, although they do look similar. If nothing else, the children seem to be born in different (although probably neighbouring) communities. (See [1].) JW2014 has another page that was originally Johannes Wehowsky and Magdalena unknown, underscoring the reality that these names can be recycled within a community and many families can end up with essentially the same names. (I have an eastern European family myself, and believe me, you can an amazing number of people living in the same community at the same time, all with the same name.)--GayelKnott 03:04, 22 February 2016 (UTC)

Hi, I believe there is no sufficent information for merging. I will go over all trees again at some point and will try to determine the connection by eliminating alternatives. There was more than one person with this name in the same village and there could be 2 separate marriages with identical names.--JW2014 19:43, 29 February 2016 (UTC)
