When you are not sure which is the right wife for a husband, it is better to use the speculative spouse template rather than putting both possible wives on the same page (See: Template:SpeculativeWife and Template:SpeculativeHusband.)

For Hermanus Stortelder, I've removed Berendina te Roller as his wife, because she married Engbert Slot before Hermanus died. Because Hermanus was still living when she married Engbert, she is unlikely to be the Berendina he married.--GayelKnott 21:18, 21 January 2015 (UTC)

thx GayelKnott ! I did not know about the templates.

It is indeed a bit complicated. It appears that several families lived on the Rouwhorst place. For example: I found out that Eijmbert Slot is a wittness to Geertruid Rouwhorst. So perhaps Geertruid's mother Anna is also this Anna.

Which brings the question about her (Anna's) parents.

Can you shed a light in this situation?

I guessed you maybe did not know about the templates. They are one of the things I like about WeRelate.

I'm afraid I can't help with your Annas. It has been a long time since I researched my Dutch family (back before anything was on-line), and I'm not familiar with Gelderland. It does seem that the Gelderland Archives does not have all their records on-line, either. I'm sorry. Wish I could help.

yes you are right, for example Ruurlo (the gemeente where i was born) does not have births complete.
