May we have the reason that this merge restriction is cited. The families appear to be the same and there are no sources noted to prevent the merge.

I see no reason either - in such circumstances, if you feel comfortable that the merge block was placed in error, feel free to clear it. The goal (in my view at least) of any merge block is only to serve as a reminder to look more closely at a situation. --jrm03063 10:25, 17 December 2011 (EST)
