Marriage license [29 feb 2024]

I'm curious about why there is a marriage license event for this couple. According to the source, they had banns read, and in English-speaking countries, the only reason for a marriage license (as far as I know) is if banns are not read. I don't see evidence of a marriage license in the source citations.

If there was indeed a marriage license, please correct the date. Otherwise, the event should be removed. Thanks--DataAnalyst 12:44, 28 February 2024 (UTC)

Banns were read in two places, where one is where the marriage took place, the other informing about the banns being read in the other place, giving some kjind of partial permission. It is correct thata is not a license in the anglosaxon sense. Corrected naming and the date.--Edwin 07:13, 29 February 2024 (UTC)
