- I think you're talking about the change to the second wife of Daniel's father William Preston. See her person page for the rationale for the change. Daniel apparently only ever had one wife.--Jaques1724 14:35, 2 May 2011 (EDT)
- See will of Margery Lauer dated 4 Aug 1664, NEHGR, p. 13:13. The division of the residue equally between John Wiswall, Thomas Wiswall Daniell Preston and Enoch Wiswall strongly hints Daniel may have married a sister of the other three, it appearing they are all brothers.
