- ↑ A very pleasent wedding took place at the home of Mr. and Mrs.Alexander Mercer last evening, when their sister, Miss Nannie B. McVeawas united in marriage to W. Edward Wicks of Elba, the Rev. H.C.Millman officiating. There were a large mumer of relatives andfriends present, many being from other town, including Batavia, Barreand Elba. Mr. and Mrs. Wicks were the recipients of many valuable anduseful presents. They left on the 11:22 train last night for a briefwedding tour in the West, and on their return will reside in Elba.
