A newspaper article appeared in the Newark paper following the wedding, headlined "Tracy-Hoodlett Wedding Wednesday". The article that followed read: "Guy ("Jack") Tracey, the genial employe at the Atherton cigar store, and Miss Beatrice Hoodlett, daughter of the proprietor of the Franklin Hotel, were quietly married at the First M.E. parsonage last evening at eight o'clock by Rev. L.C.Sparks. The attendants were Howard Horn and Miss Edith Wright. Immediately following the ceremony, the bride and groom left for Jacksontown, where they will spend their honeymoon for a few days. Returning they will make their home for a time with the bride's parents, after which they will go to housekeeping" |
