    "William Stone, son of William and Hannah, … married/2 Mary (_____) who died 6 July 1732."

  2. ↑ This third marriage for William Stone is questionable. According to the published Guilford vital records, "Stone, Mary(?), [wid. of Thomas] d. July 6,173[2], Æ 76 y. [2:4]." This Mary's stated age at death is consistent with the date of birth of Mary Johnson, born 21 Feb 1656/57, daughter of William and Elizabeth (Bushnell) Johnson, who married Thomas Stone. It seems unlikely that two Stone widows named Mary would die on the same day, one of the two not being mentioned in the Guilford records.
