Julia and Bill Ford had been living together as Common-Law Husband & Wife prior to their official marriage. Having six grandchildren who would eventually be asking questions, they finally decided to make it official. Preston Louis McLellan and his wife accompanied Bill and Julia to Las Vegas one summer weekend for the ceremony. In the family photos are pictures of the corsages (sp) worn by both ladies for the event. (naturally, the photos are undated other than a processing stamp of 1969)

Julia and Bill stopped living together in 1976, when one of Julia's granddaughters moved her from Lucerne Valley to Apple Valley, CA where she was attending High School, to be better able to care for Julia.

There were no children of this union.
