Searching for information on James K. Edmiston (later became Edmondson) who married Sarah Hand 8 Mar 1832 in Washington Co, VA. Found Sarah (b. abt 1812), her mother Betsy (Allen?) Hand, and Sarah's son, Campbell Edmondson(b. abt 1833) in 1850 Census for Washington Co, VA. James is not listed with the family. Had he died by then? Did not find Sarah or Campbell Edmondson or Betsy Hand in 1860 Census for Wash Co, VA. Was Campbell the son's first name, or his middle name? Does anyone know what happened to this family? Who were James K. Edmiston's parents?
