Bud and Hilda had five children, two sons and three daughters.

Bud's obituary reads, "Wilbur L. "Bud" Gerardot, 76, died yesterday at Parkview Memorial Hospital. The Jefferson Township native was a self-employed well driller and retired as a driver at Transport Motors in 1980 after 18 years. He also worked for Lord Security Co. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Church, New Haven. Surviving are his wife, Hilda; sons, Joseph of New Haven and Gerald of Naples, Fla.; daughters, Judie Brown of Fort Wayne and Jane Foor and Jill Merriman, both of New Haven; a brother, George or New Haven; sisters, Delores Lomont of New Haven, Eileen Renier and Jackie Roehling, both of Fort Wayne, and Rita Clare of Terre Haute; 17 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Services are at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 640 U.S. 30 E., and 11 a.m. at Tuesday at the church. Calling is from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with a wake service at 8:30 p.m. Preferred memorials are gifts to Masses or American Heart Association." Hilda's obituary reads, "NEW HAVEN. HILDA E. GERARDOT, 89, of Paulding, Ohio, formerly of New Haven, died Monday, July 16, 2007, at home surrounded by her family. Born in Edgerton, she was the daughter of Benjamin and Bertha Anderson. The homemaker, a loving mother and grandmother, was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Haven. She is survived by sons, Gerald (Mary) Gerardot of Pahrump, Nev. and Joseph Gerardot of New Haven; daughters, Judy (Terry) Brown of Louisville, Ky., Jane Ann (Ron) Foor of New Haven and Jill (Frank) Merriman of Paulding; brothers, Maurice Anderson of New Haven and Richard Anderson of Fort Wayne; 10 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Wilbur, in 1993; brothers, Harry, Benjamin, Manard, John, and Herbert Anderson; sisters, Thelma Townsend, Dulanna Brooks, and Nancy Myers; and granchildren, James W. Gerardot and Sonja L. Wood. Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Friday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 943 Powers St., New Haven, with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, with rosary at 8:30 p.m., at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 Indiana Hwy. 930 E., New Haven.
