SKOWHEGAN---The engagement is announced of Wayne B. Dow, of Newtonville, Mass., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis E. Dow of Skowhegan, and Miss Iris Beatrice Howes, daughter of Mrs. Alfred Brierly Howes of Holden. Miss Howes is an alumnus of Worcester Teachers college, 1934, and is a teacher of English in the Wellesley junior high school. Mr. Dow was graduated from Skowhegan high school and from U. of M. in 1934. He is Assistant Executive of Norumbega Council, Boy Scouts of America.
