    On Walter Marstin (B) birth certificate (18 March 1850, Lamplough, Vic. ) The wedding date between Walter Marstin and Bridget "O'Harrn" is February, Twenty-third, 1853. Based upon the unusual Marstin name linked to Ahern, I think this date an error and the date of wedding on the St Francis Church register of 10 February 1852 is correct. The informant was Walter Marstin , Storekeeper, Lamplough a temporary mining town and he probably made a mistake. It would appear that he gave his wifes maiden name wrongly too as "O'Harrin".
