Miss Ruth Cunningham and Mr. Vernon Tayek were united in marriage Thursday, Feb. 8, 1934, in the Catholic parsonage. The Rev. Luke Donlon officiating.

Saturday evening a shower was given the young couple in the city hall. A large crowd was in attendance and they received many gifts with which to start their new home.

They will make their home on the farm north of town, which was purchased recently from the Kane family. They will be at home there after March 1st.

The Leader joins with their friends in wishing them a happy matrimonial journey.
