    FUNERAL SERVICES
    Wednesday afternoon funeral services were held at the Adair high school gymnasium for Eileen Jackson Clagett, who was born in Miami, Feb. 6, 1918 and died Feb. 18, 1963 at 9:15, age 45 years and 11 days.

    She had been a patient in Grand Valley Hospital, Pryor, the last six weeks. Eileen was the daughter of the late C. R. Jackson and Mrs. Winnie Jackson. She and Vernie Clagett were united in marriage in 1944 at Bakersfield, Calif. and came to Oklahoma in 1946 to make their home. To this union were born two sons, Ross who died Feb. 6, 1960 and Kenny, who is now 14 years old.

    She was a member of the First Methodist Church of Adair, a member of the Wauhillau Home Demonstration club and had been a clerk the last eight years in the Adair post office. She graduated from the Adair high school with the class of 1936.

    Survivors are her husband, Vernie Clagett and her son, Kenny of the home. Also her mother, Mrs. Winnie Jackson, two brothers, Ralph Jackson of Pryor and Norman Jackson of Adair; two sisters, Mrs. Kathryn Falls of Pryor and Mrs. Bettie Hood of Bryan, Tex. Also several nieces and nephews to mourn her loss and many friends because to know Eileen was to love her.

    Donations for flowers were asked to be left at the Adair Drug store to be given to the American Medical Association for research for kidney disease.

    Burial was in Adair cemetery under direction of Harris funeral home.
