Perry Record, 11 Feb 1932: LATHAM--DURGEE On Friday afternoon, Feb. 5th, occurred the marriage of Edson Latham, son of Mr. and Mrs. Q.B. Latham of Gainesville, and Mrs. Maxine Durgee of Delhi RD (Gainesville) at the M.E. parsonage in that place, Rev. J.G. McKnight officiating. Miss Violet Hotchkiss, sister of the bride, and Donald Seager of Pike were the attendants. After the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Latham left by motor for a wedding trip. He left Perry with his parents several years ago, but spent his school years here and is well known to many in this section.
