    "T 4. (Rev.) Thomas2 Shepard (Thomas1), … married (recorded at Charlestown), 3 Nov. 1656, Anna Tyng, born at Boston, Mass., 6 Jan. 1639/40, died at Milton, Mass., 5 Aug. 1709, daughter of (Capt.) William and Elizabeth (Coytmore) Tyng. … He married young; his bride belonged to a prominent family, her father having been Treasurer of the Colony of Massachusetts Bay, 1640-1644. Her mother was daughter of Rowland Coytmore, who was one of the grantees of the second Charter of Virginia in 1607, and an employee of the East India Company.
