Court Held at Salem, 30 : 9 : 1654 [30 Nov 1654]
"Thomas Robins of Salem had some of the estate of Michaell Spencer, deceased, a bill of 52 s. 6d., 2 cowes with rent of same for one year & a rugg of 18s. Court ordered, with consent of Garrud Spencer, administrator of said deceased, that Robins was to have it as he had a child of the deceased to bring up. The child's name was Michaell Spencer, and he was six years old."
[Note: of this Source:Jacobus, Donald Lines. Four Spencer Brothers, TAG, Vol. 27, p. 163, says "This is almost certain evidence that Michael's widow had married Robbins..." See also Vol. 2, p. 48, which mentions his wife ["Isbaell Robans" on p. 37]l has a son. Some sources have connected this to the item on Thomas West earlier on the page to suggest Robbin's wife was Thomas West's mother, but an unrelated items falls inbetween, suggesting they are not connected.]
