Lillian and Thomas were married, in Eagelehawk. Thomas then left to go back an d work in the mines in Western Australia. Legend has it that he sent back a fe w pays to his new wife but after that was never heard of again. Several trace s have been done to try and find his actual death date however none of them hav e been sucessful ( although admittedly all of the searches have been done in W.A .. Some believed he never died but instead returned to his first wife(?) as tho ugh he had never gotten married at all. Another story goes along the lines tha t he was a heavy drinker and simply drifted away to obliviant in his stupor.
