p. 8: 'Lucy, third daughter of Captain Corker ... In 1685 she married Mr. Thomas Jordan of Surry County and had by him a daughter Phyllis, who appears to have died without issue.'
footnote 18: In Annie Lash Jester's book Adventurers of purse and person, 'Lucy Corker's first husband was stated to be a Thomas Jordan of the Quaker family of Nansemond County, but the records cited clearly evidence that he was of the Surry Jordans.'
