24 Jun 1749 Thomas and Rebecca were married 24 Jun 1749 in little Egg Harbor (then Burlington Co. NJ) - the bond refers to Rebecca as "the Widdow Stillwell." Some have surmised that she was also born a Stillwell as well as having married one.

Traditionally wife Rebecca is given as a Stillwell but the marriage bond filed in Little Egg Harbor, NJ says she was the "Widdow" Stillwell and since I have no proof that she was born a Stillwell or truly was Nicholas Stillwell's daughter I am uncomfortable giving that as her maiden name.
