Thomas Colburn (Thomas, Edward) was born May 14, 1675, and died Nov. 2, 1770; his wife was named Maria, born 1680; died Sept. 7, 1739; he was deacon of the church in Dunstable. He and his wife are buried at the old Colonial burial place, near the present Little's R. R. Station, where their gravestones may be seen.

  2. Inferred based on birthdate of youngest child
  3.   According to S1, there is another son, Isaac. The town record (Dunstable) for him reads "COLBURN, Isaac, s. Thomas and Elisabeth, Dec. 28, 1711. n.r." No other children are born to this couple, so either it is a scribal error, or wishful thinking on the part of the aforementioned source.
