Our Baily Line started out as far as I can tell with Thomas Baily. This is not proven and most of the information on this family was found in Census records, Cemetery records and some obituaries. As for the Thomas, I found a Will for Thomas Baily in Fountain Co. It had very little information in it, but I think from some other records that this is our first Ancestor to Indiana. I also found some records (marriage from Flemming Co.Ky.) where they supposedly came from. I found one for a John Baily and Barsheba Bowen, but I can't prove that they are ours; however with the records that far back it is possible that he could have been (John) Thomas Baily. The reason for this is that my Ancestor (Proven) had a daughter (Barsheba Elvira Baily) and if you reflect on the similarities of names in both families; it is classed as traditional information. To the best of my knowledge there were twelve children.
