--GaleB 09:47, 24 January 2008 (EST) -- There is no proof that Ebenezer was a son of Shadrach and Nellie. The only clue here is that Nellie had a brother Ebenezer. So, until something more turns up I will leave him in this spot.

The only record of him found in Worcester Co., MD is: Deed Bk Y, April 10, 1807, pg.556 Eben Driskell to Sampson Davis for the sum of forty dollars one bay mare, one milk cow, one calf, two feather beds and furniture.

In Highland Co., OH I find the following: April 17, 1838 George Hodson and Ebenezer Driskill appointed Guardians of Seth Shockley aged 13 years, Narcissa aged 10 years and Andrew Jackson Shockley aged 9 years, Childen of Benjamin Shockley dec’d. Sureties: Allen Hodson, Jonathan Hackett. Source: Wills, Administrations, Guardians and Adoptions of Highland County, Ohio, 1805-1880, McBryde, pub 1957.

Also, a marriage record in Highland Co., OH for Ebenezer F. Driskill to Lucinda M. Wright on 3 July, 1832. This Ebenezer, born abt 1811 in MD, is not old enough to be the man on the Worcester deed.
