Given Samuel's age, Martha is most likely a widow. She would appear to be the widow of Daniel Thurston who d. 1745 in Uxbridge, which makes her his second wife (Martha Allen, married Daniel Thurston 15 Oct 1705 per Medfield VRs, p. 115).
