[Note: 14 and 17 are numbers often mistaken for each other. The marriage occurred in Boston (by Cotton Mather), as expected, being the residence of the bride, and the 17 Sep record above was probably sent to Lynn by Boston due to Acts of 1827 so is based on the Boston record below. It is not clear if the 14 Sep record was a minister's return (presumably misread) or an intention presented as a marriage, but it is presumed the Boston record, being the location of the marriage, is probably correct.]
