Since James Brown and family removed to Waterbury, and the only other Eunice Brown appearing in the published Connecticut vital records of an age appropriate to marry Samuel Beardsley (she born in Windsor 1715) appears to have married in Windsor in 1736. In addition, Samuel Beardsley and Eunice Brown were first cousins; therefore, it is reasonably certain that the Eunice who married Beardsley was the one born in New Haven, 1707, daughter of James and Elizabeth (Kirby) Brown.
