- Several of this family of Adams are buried near the old Brewer home NW 1 mile of the Providence Church at McAfee, Kentucky, just north of Harrodsburg, Kentucky. I have been there and surveyed the visible stones. Several McCouns are also buried there as well but their stones were moved by descendants near a house several hundred feet away. This cemetery is referred to as the Adams cemetery but may also be the "old settlers cemetery" near one of the first stations on the Salt River as mentioned in "The Life and Times of Robert McAfee and His Family and Connections" Kentucky State Historical Register, Volume 25, Number 72, January 1927.
