  3. Allred, p. 278, shows a different Fanny Town marrying Rufus Kenney. That can be shown to be wrong because the father of the different Fanny Town named her Fanny Chapin in his will. Allred misread this Fanny's name as Pharma instead of Phanna so didn't recognize her as a possibility, and because Joseph Chapin wasn't born or resident in Warwick that was a marriage she was unaware of, so she was left with one Fanny Town and one marriage of Fanny Town, and assumed her conclusion. Notice that both Rufus Kenney with his wife Fanny, and Fanny's father Ephraim, end up in Stowe, Vt.
