1 Mar 1652/53: "Lres of adminnestracon are graunted unto Elizabeth wife of the late Deceased Robert Waterman to adminester upon his estate and to pay the Debts soe fare and by equal proportions as the estate will amount unto."

13 Jan 1652/53: Inventory taken by Anthony Eames, Mr Hinksman, Marke Eames, and Anthony Snow.

6 Feb 1665: "Mr Josias Winslow and Anthony Snow are approved by the Court to bee gaurdians to two of the sonnes of Robert Waterman Deceased; (viz) Josepth Waterman and Robert Waterman; and supposing that Robert Waterman is under age the Court appoints the said mr Winslow and Anthony Snow to bee gaurdian to him; as abovesaid;"

4 Jul 1670: "... Can Testify That Elizabeth the late wife of Robert Waterman; and exequitrix of the said Robert, did make sale of the said p'r'sell of Land to Thomas Tilden of the Towne aforsaid [Marshfield] ... and this sale was made by her to the said Tilden, before her Marriage with him..."    Robert Waterman came to New England with brother Thomas in 1636, settled in Marshfield, m. 11 Dec 1638 Elizabeth Bourne, d/o Thomas Bourne. He d. 10 Dec 1652.

   [No primary evidence or explanation is added to support the stated marriage date of 9 Dec, which apparently comes from the records of Edgar Waterman. The editor, Jacobus, has added a footnote stating that the Plymouth Colony record say 11 Dec. One can only assume this is an error, possibly involving transposition of the Roman numerals, changing xi found in the official record to ix?]
