==Harriet's Wedding Announcement (transcribed by RC from undated newspaper clipping)==
The marriage of Miss Harriet E. Louth, of Spencerville, and Robert E. Patton, of Delphos, took place at the parsonage of Trinity church Lima, Saturday afternoon, at 3 o'clock. Rev. M. R. Fuller officiated at the marriage service, the couple being unattended. Mr. Patton is employed in the oil fields and the newly wedded couple expect to go to El Dorado, Kansas, to make their home. Their many friends wish for them the greatest success and happiness thru their married life.

Digital copy (PDF) sent to RC 15 May 2017 by Vernon's daughter, Vera, with this note, "Found this photo and clipping from newspaper for the anniversary of the Pattons & my grandparents. It was the Pattons 50th anniversary in 1967 according to back of photo attached. So they were married on April 28, 1917. I know that my grandparents were married on April 30, 1919."
