!MARRIAGE; Bowen-Kimball; June 29, 1935 A quiet but pretty wedding was solemnized in Anderson Saturday afternoon at the first Baptist church, when Miss Ruth A. Bowen, daughter of M. M. Bowen, of Lafayette Rural Route 1, became the bride of Robert L. Kimball, son of Mrs. Margaret Kimball, 1822 Wilsons Street, Lafayette. The Rev. E. J. Smith officiated in the presence of several close friends. The attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Max Bowen. The bride wore an attractive gown of poudre blue crepe and white accessories. She carried an arm bouquet of pink roses and babybreath. Mrs. Bowen wore a pink dress and carried a bouquet of pink and blue flowers. The altar was adorned with bouquets of Madonna lilies. Prior to the ceremony Mr. John Sowash played a group of bridal numbers. The couple will reside in Lafayette.
