The Memorial of John Slafter S1 relates that Dorothy Fenton (wife of Samuel Slafter) was the daughter of Robert and Dorothy (Farrar) Fenton of Mansfield, Ct., and that Dorothy was probably born in Woburn, Mass. "where her father resided several years before he removed to Conn." In a footnote on Jacob Fenton, it states that Robert Fenton was the "immigrant ancestor".

  2. The marriage date is given as "bef 1700", since that is when their daughter Dorothy was born. Woburn is the probable marriage location, as that is where the family resided before moving to Connecticut.
