Note that there are discrepancies between the lists of children given in Visitations of Devon and Burke's Landed Gentry (e.g., Henry vs. Humphrey who died at Ostend, and whether or not John had issue). Given the additional detail (such as information about Humphrey's will and estate) in Visitations of Devon, it appears that it might be the more accurate presentation.
