Mary Hance Wiley, age 76, of Newport, went home to be with her Lord February 22, 2002, at the Laughlin Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, W.B. and Ida Barnes Hance; husband, Clifford Wiley; brother, Ed Hance, of Louisiana; sister, Martha Snyder, of Belmont, North Carolina; and stepdaughter, Nancy Wiley Hall, of Newport.
Sons and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Debbie Adams, and George and Judy Adams, daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and David Lackey, and Barbara and Joe Penland, and Martha Jenkins, stepson, Charles Wiley, sister and brother-in-law, Lucille and Donnie Rector, brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Susan Hance, grandchildren, Joey Penland, Michael, Jackie, Robbie, Eric, and Toby Adams, Jonathan and Matthew Lackey, Richard, Shannon, Phillip, and Crystal Wiley, and Donnie Phillips; 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
