Moore received from him January, 2008: The New York Evening Post' reported 17 February 1825 "MARRIED, at Islip, L.I. on Saturday evening, Jan. 22d, by the Rev. Mr. Seabury, Mr. Richard J. Scudder, son of Col. Tredwell Scudder, to Miss Elizabeth, daughter of Mr. James Jackson, all of that place."
