Retire Trask m. Lydia Foster, d/o Isaac Foster and Lydia T. Bacon.
[p. 215] Lydia's father settled in Acworth about 1780, so her marriage probably would occur there.
[p. 275] Retire Trask settled in Acworth about 1793, so marriage before that date unlikely.
Source:Essex Genealogist (Massachusetts) (Essex Society of Genealogists) Vol. 28, p. 164: "Acworth has virtually no vital records; the genealogy section is the source of all information on this family once they moved to Acworth unless otherwise cited. This books should be used with caution; it has been found to include numerous errors." Note: no birth dates assigned to any of the children in this coverage of the family, nor in History of Acworth p. 275, presumably because no birth records exist.
