Family:Ralph Spears and Bertha Clifton (1)

Hi Cynthia,     I'd be happy to share what I know. Floyd Augustus SPEARS was the son of William Henry SPEARS (b. 1848, Ohio) and Sara Elizabeth CLIFTON/CLIFFTON (b. 08 May 1858, Sullivan County, Missouri). Floyd was the 11th of 12 children. To the best of my knowledge, he died 21 Aug 1976, Denver, Colorado. He was married 10 Nov 1915 to Freda Hobbs (and is believed to have married a second time as well). Since you are a Clifton decendent, it may be of interest that Floyd's younger brother, Ralph Eugene (Gene) Spears married a Bertha Clifton 4 Nov 1917.     Perhaps if you shared your connection to the Cliftons and/or information you are searching for, I could be more helpful. 1.   I am the grandson of Ralf and Bertha Spears. Great Grandma's maiden name was Clifton and Great Grandpa's name was Grant. Grandma's maiden name was Grant.
