The marriage of Miss ' Erma Walmsley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. D. "Walmsley, and Ralph Ekiss of Moweaqua, took place at noon Wednesday in the bride's home in 1265 West Forest avenue. Rev. Wilbert Dowson of Grace Methodist church performed the ceremony in the presence of members pt the two families. A three course dinner was served, after which the young couple left for a trip to Chicago. Upon their return they will live in Moweaqua. Music was furnished by the bride's cousin, Herbert Walmsley, who sang, "I Love You Truly," accompanied' by his" wife. Mrs. Walmsley played the wedding marches also. The bride wore a frock of beige georgette with a corsage bouquet of sweetpeas. Decorations throughout the house were of pink and white, and spring flowers and candles in silver candlesticks on the bride's table, and the centerpiece was the wedding cake. Out of town guests included Mrs. Cora Williams of Chicago, aunt of the bride, and Mr. and Mrs. John Ekiss of Moweaqua, parents of the bridegroom.
