[edit] Family HistoryA marriage license was issued 24 December 1909, by the probate court of Hardin co., Ohio, to Quincy Austin Perry (occ. farmer) and Nettie Melcora (Kissling) Clemmons, both of Kenton, Hardin co. They were married 25 December in Hardin co., by Rev. T. W. Pinkerton.[1] Nettie was previously married once and was divorced.[1] On 5 June 1917,[2] Quincy signed a card (as “Quincy A. Parry”) for the first registration of the WW I draft. Quincy, a farmer, stated that he had a dependent wife and child, and they were residing on a rural postal route from Kenton, Hardin co., Ohio. He also stated that his previous service was for 3 years as a private in the infantry of the Ohio National Guard. The registrar's report describes him as tall height, medium build, blue eyes, and brown hair. On 25 April 1942,[3] Quincy signed a card (as “Quincy Austin Perry”) for the fourth registration of the WW II draft. Quincy gave the name of his wife, Mrs. Nettie Perry, and stated that he was employed by New York Central Railroad in Kenton, and they were residing in Kenton, Hardin co., Ohio. The registrar's report describes him as 5'8½" height, 165 lbs. weight, blue eyes, brown hair, and light complexion. References
