St-Michel de Napierville, Qc. - On the 27 October 1857 after the publication of three marriage banns at the homilies of our parochial masses, two publications having been made at St Rémi as it is stated in the certificate from the Curate of that place with dispensation of one publication having been obtained from his Highness Monsignor Cydonia for St Rémi, between Pierre DAMOUR, minor son of Louis DAMOUR, farmer, and of Charlotte PAQUIN of this parish on the one part, and Victorine ROUFARD, minor daughter of Jean ROUFARD, farmer, and of Adélaïde POISSAN of the parish of St Rémi on the other part. And having discovered no impediment or opposition to the said marriage, we, the undersigned priest, with the agreement of the parents of the spouses, have received their mutual consent to the marriage and have given them the nuptial blessing in the presence of Louis Damour, father of the groom, of Jean Roufard, father of the bride and of Louis Damour, brother of the groom, who along with the spouses did not know how to sign; other witnesses have signed with us.
