1850 census: Annotated, compiled by John P. Alderman (1979) Phillip (1824-1891) named for his grandfather Beamer, was the son of Isaac and Mary (Beamer) Edwards. Susan (1829-1875) was the daughter of Samuel and Mary (Ashworth) Sink and married him in 1845. After she died, Philip remarried twice; first to Elizabeth Edwards in 1879 and then to Mattie Perguson in 1888.
