Paul and Leona had five children, two sons and three daughters. Paul's obituary reads, "FORMER J-G CIRCULATION EMPLOYE DIES. Services for Paul A. Mourey, 63, of 522 South St., New Haven, will be at 8:30 a.m. Saturday in E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, New Haven, and 9 a.m. in St. John's Catholic Church, New Hven, Rev. Edward Roswog officiating. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery. Mr. Mourey died at 10:30 a.m. yesterday in St. Joseph's Hospital where he had been a patient three days. A native of Jefferson Township, he lived most of his life in New Haven, and was employed in the circulation department of The Journal-Gazette for 28 years, retiring in 1952. He also operated the Mourey Insurance Agency for 15 years, retiring from the business in 1963. He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, New Haven, its Holy Name Society, and the Catholic Order of Foresters. Surviving are his wife, Leona, two sons, Paul Jr., at home, and Donald, Monroeville; three daughters, Mrs. John Conley, Hyde Park, Mass., Mrs. Joe Isenbarger, New Haven, and Mrs. Lester Lothamer, Fort Wayne; three sisters, Mrs. Cecelia Oberley, and Mrs. Amelia Oberley, both of Monroeville, and Mrs. Edna Snyder, Convoy, Ohio; one brother, Frank L., La Mesa, Calif.; and 14 grandchildren. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today. Rosary services will be conducted following the Novena service Friday evening." Born in Bethalto, Ill., she lived in New Haven for 80 years. She was employed as office manager for 30 years at Mourey Insurance Agency. Her husband, Paul A., died in 1965. Surviving are two sons, Paul Jr. of New Haven and Donald of Monroeville; three daughters, Carole Conley of Boston, Betty Isenbarger and Patricia Lothamer, both of New Haven; two sisters, Josephine Goebel of Portland, Ore., and Gwen O'Donnell of Austin, Texas; 20 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Services at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Haven. Calling one hour before services at the church. Burial in the church cemetery.
